| With the deepening of the development of China’s aging process, as the main carrier of home care model, the high-rise adaptive aging residence is a universal type of age-residential buildings to ease the pressure of aging and protect physical and mental health of the elderly, which is adapted to Chi na’s economic and social status and family pension concepts. However, since there are many practical problems of home care in high-rise residence currently, besides that the daily life and physical function of the elderly is easily affected by climate and other external factors, to implement adaptive aging residence in urban area of the severe cold region is confronted with the dual constraints of urban density and regional climate. based on the above issues, considering the practical problems of constraint s of the severe cold climate, high-rise residence difficulties for the elderly and bottlenecks to promote proper aging residence, The thesis mainly put forward the concept of the high-rise adaptive aging residence from the theoretical point of view and the design conception and technique from the application point of view.Firstly, Based on the extensive collection of practical and theoretical information, combined with qualitative research methods, this thesis proposes the concept of high-rise adaptive aging residence, analyses the main components and construction mode, to be ready for the entire study.Secondly, through a questionnaire survey and other quantitative research methods, deeply analyze of the behavior and demand of elderly people, and summarize the design problems existing in high-rise residence of severe cold region, providing a quantitative basis for solving practical problems and meeting the demands of elderly people. Then, based on results of quantitative and qualitative research stage, the thesis summarizes the design principles for the high-rise adaptive aging residence in severe cold region, and study the overall planning strategy and design optimization methods from external and internal space environment views. In close connection with the pulse of the country’s aging residential buildings, combined with qualitative and quantitative research methods, the thesis focuses on humanistic care of the older individuals and elderly family, and aims at improving pervasive development of the high-rise adaptive aging residence, to hope for providing some valuable lessons for older residential buildings design. |
