The Yangtze River, the most important axis through the country from the east to th e west, has the largest freight volume among the inland waterways in the earth, and th us plays an vital role in the overall pattern of regional development. Currently, the ships in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River are scheduled by the Intelligent Ship Traffic Command System. However, with the rapid popularization of portable intelligent terminal and the increasing intensity, it shows necessity to develop the personalized navigation service system which can provide the location information, push and pull the realtime traffic information and show the traffic status by the 2-D map, list and voice etc.With the help of Chongqing Navigation Bureau and based on the data and service of the Intelligent Ship Traffic Command System, an Aided Navigation Information Service System is designed by using GPS(Global Positioning System), LBS, cloud push, baidu map and SOAP transport protocol. The ship users can acquire real-time traffic information by pushing or pulling and the river managers can obtain the real-time commanding and the dynamic monitoring information. Hence, it broadens the way to get traffic information for the users, which improves the traffic efficiency and thus benefits for future developing the Yangtze River and speeding corresponding economic development.The main work of this thesis includes three parts:â‘  By taking the commanding situation and the business of shipping into consideration, the requirement analysis of the Location based Aided Navigation Information Service System is conducted.â‘¡ According to the actual requirement of commanding, a personalized point-to-point and terminal-to-terminal signaling method is proposed, where the portable terminal is utilized. The frame of the Location based Aided Navigation Information Service System is designed, as well as the software and hardware and the functions.â‘¢ The location of the terminal is obtained by the base and GPS and the drifting point is filtered intelligently by use of geofence. Then, the location data is sequenced and uploaded to the web service.â‘£ The implementation of the developed system.The Aided Navigation Information Service System is realized by Java programmin-g language. The practical implementation verified that this system shows perfect perfor-mance in providing personalized, real-time and diversified services.
