Friction exists widely in all aspects of our life, in all aspects of automotive, power, metallurgy, railway equipment, aerospace, electronics, and other agricultural machinery and there are a lot of tribological problems, has caused by friction energy consumption, due to wear and tear caused by the damage of machine parts. Friction has a serious impact on us, so the study of tribology has important significance. This paper aims to develop a kind of multi-functional transmission friction test bench, test under different loads, different speeds, such as disk gear friction in the contact area of the behavior of materials, in order to conduct basic research in the frontier subject of friction and contact characteristics of rolling and sliding conditions,so as to provide scientific methods for the gear and transmission parts as the representative of the contact disc lubrication mechanism. At the same time, the different transmission system experiment equipment can gear, belt drive, chain drive, transmission power loss but also the use of the experimental measurement in the process of transmission and the wear amount of direct detection and transmission of friction with friction. This article has mainly carried on the following research。This paper from the test bench design specifications and requirements of the overall structure, the design of the test bench and introduces its working principle, and then the mechanical structure system, detection and control system, the software system for the detailed design calculation, finally test specimen experiment, experiment results show the experimental platform smooth operation, the index parameters to meet the design requirements.
