In order to ensure the sustainable development of our city economy society, must be on the water resources of our country city continued to conduct the system research utilization countermeasures.The thesis of Kashi city urbanization and water resources sustainable utilization were studied.Kashi city is a typical oasis city in south the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region area, with the water resource and environmental features of typical arid region in southwest, the development for many years, Kashi is located in southern Xinjiang, urbanization has made certain achievements, but there are some problems. Based on the data of utilization of water resources in Kashi city based on Kashi area, 2003 to 2012 years the water resources quantity, types and spatial changes were analysis. The results showed, in the past 10 years in Kashi area, the total amount is increasing, the maximum amount increased, agricultural water use, ecological environment water consumption increased volume ranks second, industrial, urban public domestic water and the amount of the increase was less. The utilization of water resources from different types of view, agricultural water use is a growing trend; industrial water use increased the maximum value; life with changes in water is special :the city of Kashi showed a decreasing trend. I think, city factor, economic factor, population factor is the main driving force of changes in the structure and utilization of water resources in Kashi area of Kashi City, the ecological effect caused by, think of Kashi city is now antagonistic stage interaction of city and ecological environment, ecological environment: at this stage with the development of the city shows fluctuations instability characteristics, and the establishment of early warning system of coordinated development of city and ecological environment under the constraint of water resources.
