Research On Workshop Construction Project Cost Control Problems Of Chengde Nickel Industry Company

With continuous growth of private enterprises, many private enterprises stand a chance of participating in building construction projects. However, without an experienced team or relevant experienced personnel to control the cost of construction project, they are likely to suffer from a large gap in capital control in the process of new construction, which, to a great extent, impacts enterprises’ development and even threatens their survival.This paper carries out a research on project control issues in the development of private enterprises. Firstly, it represents some investigations on construction cost control project at home and abroad and narrates the significance of this subject. Secondly, it introduces relevant theories and research methods of project cost control. Thirdly, the paper gives a brief introduction to Chengde Nickel Industry Limited Company’s plant construction project. In this part, the basic information and cost control condition of this project are introduced. This paper mainly studies problems in cost control at construction phase of building project and puts forward corresponding control measures. Additionally, it applies WBS method and earned value method to analyzing the project and predicting possible problems. Any overbalance indicates that this company is required to work harder on cost control, so as to reach expected value while guaranteeing construction schedule. According to the analysis, the links with possible errors and resultant additional expenditure than expected are obtained, and corresponding countermeasures are proposed. Under the condition of quality and quantity guaranteed, the construction project is completed as scheduled and cash balance is retained. At last, this paper makes conclusions and prospect, reaching relevant conclusions about cost control of this project.The research on how Chengde Nickel Industry Limited Company should control cost in its plant construction project can not only guide a better arrangement for this project investment, but also aims at providing help and reference for other enterprises’ cost control in building construction project.
