With the rapid development of road construction, some questions gradually appeared on the road. It emerged a large number of early damages such as rutting, fatigue cracking, sinking, shoving and so on while the road is in its design working life. It has to do large areas of repair in first serval years.The road can not used in its normal way. The problem of pavement durability is very obvious.This article described the way of evaluating pavement durability based on fuzzy logic method through ansysing the factors of asphalt high temperature stability, water stability, fatigue resistance, aging and healing property of asphalt mixtures. The main research contents are as follows:The factors on the durability and the influencing level of each factor were analyzed by experiment and software simulation.The water stability was analyzed by immersion Marshall and freeze-thaw splitting test. The aging of the asphalt mixtures was analyzed by aging test to study the influence of aging temperature and aging time on the performance of pavement.The rutting was re- calibrated on the basis of previous studies with measured datas. The factors of fatigue resistance of the asphalt mixtures their level was analyzed by ANSYS.The fuzzy rules were determined according to the level of the influence of various factors on durability. By the MATLAB fuzzy logic tool, the fuzzy performance values were obertained. At last input all the fuzzy performance values to durability model to determine the degree of pavement durability.
