Since the 21 st century, with the development of tourism, the functions and classification of hotels are becoming more and more refined. At the same time, the levels of people’ consumption, cultural education and living quality are improved, which make people demand for the function of the hotel from standardized services to experience and personalized service. Due to the pursuit of hotel’s features, Boutique Hotel arises at the historic moment. Since 2005, With more boutique hotels emerging, the characteristic of boutique hotel is pursuing innovative, unique and individualize design. Unlike standardized traditional hotel, boutique hotel is a personalized product. The cause of the fundamental is at the beginning of Boutique Hotel design was endowed with unique cultural connotations.This article will take Boutique Hotel highly centralized areas and for research, to study the ways how Boutique Hotel learn from nature, history, trend. Hope this article can help the design of Boutique Hotel which pursuing designs with culture.The thesis is composed of five chapters:The First chapter of the thesis relates to the research background, significance of the topic, the scope, contents and framework of study.The Second chapter of the thesis introduces and analyzes the develop actuality, classify, characteristics.The Third section of the thesis selects real cases to analyze what the cultural characteristics of Boutique Hotel are, in order to conclude a set of standards as the theory basis of cultural characteristics’ shaping of Boutique Hotel.The Forth section of the thesis focuses on the research on cultural characteristics’ shaping of Boutique Hotel. By analyzing the space organization, modelling design, interior design, feature function configuration from “been to being”, summarize the design points and the way of thinking for the cultural characteristics’ shaping of Boutique Hotel.The Fifth chapter of the thesis combines the researchs of the Third chapter and Forth chapter to prospected boutique hotel’s promotion tendency.
