| The author organizes and records the operational approaches of Liu Jiakun’s practical projects- the conception and implementation of pre-project; further improvement and construction adjustment of the mid- & post- term project through the internship experience in Mr. Liu’s construction firm in 2014 and participate in the latest construction projects. She also expands Mr.Liu’s researches, inductions and conclusion for local architectural creative thoughts based on this.Research methods in this thesis includes: investigation; combination of internship experience with interview and conversation; category statistics and logical analysis. Field research includes the researches of the projects has been built and are under construction as well as the latest construction project. The current thesis is based on the induction, consolidation, summary from the Mr. Liu’s office’s latest first-hand information by category statistics and logical analysis.The main idea of this thesis is to put Mr.Liu’s practical ideas into the context of Chinese contemporary architecture industry. It concludes the comparative analysis with similar architects over the macro-level and the detailed discussion of his typical cases on the micro-level.The thesis consists of five chapters: The first chapter is a brief introduction of the original, background, purpose, significance, current situation, method and framework. The second chapter is the summary of Chinese local architectural theory and analysis of Mr. Liu’s influence. The third and fourth chapter are detailed discussion of Mr. Liu’s local architectural thoughts and works, especially emphasis on Mr. Liu’s introduction, experience, researches on the local thoughts and works, methods of practice as well as the way and the application of local architectural vocabularies. The last chapter is author’s inspiration and conclusion from internship experience in Mr.Liu’s firm, mainly summary up Mr. Liu’s practical rationality and wisdom, together with the developmental inspiration of Mr. Liu’s practical exploration on contemporary architecture. |
