With the rapid development of the national economy and urbanization in China, most of the cities have entered into the "period of rapid development." Residents constantly choose to urban migration and the size of the city continues to expand, the problems have arising because of these reasons, such as urban population increased dramatically, be short of land for construction, insufficient infrastructure, traffic congestion, environmental degradation etc. These adverse caused a bad state of the urban environment. People have started to seek solutions for the scarce urban land resources and other issues through the development of underground space, as an important part of urban underground space, the urban underground public space development plays an important role in the use of the process. As technology advances and the increase of economic level, the development of underground space in China has made a series of achievements. However, due to the relatively late start, for the development of underground space is also a lack of unified planning.The integrated planning for the cooperation zone of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation in modern service as an important new urban center in Shenzhen, needs to become an international recognition and popularity of the modern city area, has high demand for the quality of urban space. This study is unique for the planning background of the Qianhai area, has introduced design concept of integrated in the underground public space design for Qianhai area and trying to build three-dimensional, comprehensive and humane underground urban public space.The 3&4 units of Qianhai Area have many unique features such as needing require rapid construction, having the ability of independent planning and management, needing complex functions, needing to establish an efficient transportation, having intensive space construction etc. By analyzing the Qianhai area integrated planning needs, goals, and also the analysis of 3&4 units surrounding conditions, this paper have proposed overall space planning and design strategies like choosing reasonable location, selecting the appropriate function and paying attention to detail design. By interpreting the three design levels which includes the continuity of the horizontal transport, vertical transport links performance and conversion performance for the transportation between floor space and underground space, then spatial analysis of the unique characteristics of 3&4 units, finally, the study could concluded that three-dimensional design strategy traffic organization of underground public space. Obtained by analyzing the function of public space in the underground generalized connotation which is including business entertainment, parking and traffic function and other auxiliary functions of demand for transport organization of underground space, then could understand that the functional organization of underground public space transportation capability design has to follow the basic principles about based on the traffic function, made commercial function as the main support and made the other functions as a secondary. Based on the above, this study have combined with the characteristic of 3&4 units, then have found the functional organization of underground public space strategy by analogy analysis. By interpreting the main elements and space for underground public space elements which the study have found that the integration of environmental design needs to pay attention to physiological needs, psychological needs and aesthetic needs for the user. By analyzing the environment factors of 3&4 units underground space, the study have finally got the user-friendly design strategies for underground public space environment. In the last part of the study was the application of the results for the planning and design research practice of 3&4 units in Qianhai.
