With the economic development of China,the construction and development of the rural areas attract our attentions gradually.The phenomenon occurs especially in some developing rural areas with rapidly developed economy,as the living standards of citizens have been improved. However,some rural areas in the northeast part of China have not achieved substantial improvements in many aspects due to some factors,such as geography,climate,economy,technology and or so.The northeast rural residences in severely cold area need to be heated for a longer period in winter,consuming a quantity of energy,while the comfort in the indoor is so poor that fails to reach the thermal comfort requirements. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the quality of the insulation of the construction is poor. As an important part of the residence,the quality of the insulation of the construction has an direct relationship with the comfort of indoor space.For this reason,it is important to analyze the envelope enclosure of rural residences in severely cold northeast area in an attempt to formulate reformed strategies.At first,the envelope enclosure of northeast rural residences in the severely cold area has been regarded as the primary subject,choosing typical villages to investigate and analyzing the typical characteristics of envelope enclosure of northeast rural residences.Then,taking the field measurement data and questionnaires of surrounding villages in Harbin and the typical rural areas in Jilin province as basis. This essay systematically summarizes types of the exterior wall structure and the roof insulation structure in different parts of northeast rural residences in the severely cold part.Secondly,according to current policy requirements about the use of construct materials and energy consumption to analyze the defects of exterior walls and roof envelop structure of typical residences.This essay profoundly reveals the characteristics of the technology of envelop structures’ portfolio construction,such as materials and structure practice,from different perspectives.Furthermore, summarizing the of the energysaving technology of the reformed house envelope enclosure and choosing energy-saving technology of envelop enclosure that is suitable for severely cold areas f or further research.Finally,putting forward the energy-saving reformed strategies which are suitable for the northeast rural residences with severely cold weather.Meanwhile,applying the energy-saving software that is e QUEST dynamic simulation of energy consumption for energy assessment and analyzing the thickness and materials of enclosure structure to select the optimal energy-saving reformed plan.By the comprehensive understanding of the evaluation of the energy-efficiency effect and the energy-consumption of the reformed and the original construction,comparing and analyzing every projects, choosing the optimal energysaving reformed strategy which is suitable for the severely cold areas of northeast.By the research of the existing farmhouse and the method that integrates with practice,selecting the reasonable energy-saving project among modifications, which is effective to reduce the heating costs and maintenance costs. It plays a vital role in the renovation of cold region of our country rural residence and the innovation of energy-saving technology. In reality,the reconstruction of the original farmhouse, to improve the indoor temperature has significant effect on the decline of the energy consumption.
