The power system of ships, for its own operating characteristics, will inspire strong vibrations and noise emissions. That will have a very negative impact on the staff work environment and ship stealth. Both at home and abroad, many ship machineries and equipments adopted the floating raft plan in order to solve this problem, and the vibration can be isobtained well.In this paper, by means of optimized design a new type of floating raft isolation system is proposed. Firstly, the traditional floating raft isolation system design experience is summarized; several evaluation methods of vibration isolation efficiency are compared. And then use the topology optimization method for conceptual design of floating raft structures. Through the analysis of optimization result summarizes a new kind of isolator system.In this system the upper and lower isolators are tilted placed, and a power transmission component is added. Structural parameter optimization platform is built Furtherly. Take the minimum power flow that passed from floating raft structure to the base as optimization goal. Constraint conditions are equivalent vibration intensity of isolated engine, fatigue life of floating raft of structures, static stresses and displacements, dynamic stress and displacement. Parameter optimization design of new type of floating raft is done.In order to explore the superiority of the new structure, optimization results of new type floating raft and traditional type floating raft are compared. New floating raft structures is better than the traditional raft on considered indexes except the equivalent vibration intensity. This result shows that the design of floating raft in this paper is superior to traditional structures in structural energy transfer, and also has better durability.
