| The street-alley space of rural settlements is the most important part of its outer space,it organizes the traffic inside and outside the settlements,and the internal traffic flow of people and vehicles, it is also an important space where the public life of the residents taken place,carrying the functions of the daily communication of the local residents,the inherit of regional culture, and the integration of regional resources, in order to achieve the goal of coordinate development of the region.However, in the continuously development of urbanization,widely distributed valley-towns in Qinling mountains didn’t pay to much intention to the importance of the street-alley space,so that many towns just pursuit the economic interests unilaterally, ignore the requirements of the residents for public living space, and the sustainable development of the living space environment, the traditional street-alley space system is constantly being destroyed, the construction of township street-alley space is in the situation of the lack of systematically and effectively planning, design and supervision. In the new stage of development,the transition of economies is continuously to be mentioned, this kind of development pattern of the streets-valley can no longer be a universal phenomenon.This paper is based on the previous investigation and research, on the one hand, it analysed the feature of the valley-towns in Qinling, where is known for its particular geographical and cultural characteristics,which includes the influencing factors,developing model,systematic structure,and the formation of the street-alley; on the other hand,it summarized the challenges,problems, and reasons of those during the construction of new street-alley space of valley-towns in Qinling. Through the corresponding association of traditional and new-built valley-towns in Qinling,the paper tried to find some guiding principles and adaptable strategies of the formation of street-alley space,as references to new-built ones. |
