The Research On The Strategy Of The Public Space Planning Of River Valley Town Of Qingling

There has been a rapid development of the township constructions after China’ first proposal of the new urbanization 10 years ago. However, during this process, many problems occurred. For example, because of the lack of realization and understanding of the town’s public spaces, residences’ demands for social life were ignored to pursue the one-side interests. As a consequence, this lead to the improper of the town’s space form and the insufficiency of public space system.Based on the Qinling Valley- more than 30 villages towns to conduct field research and analysis, to explore the valley- Qinling township public space in the special geographical environment, cultural heritage, there is a low degree of complex types, lack of content and systematic, the number of fewer problems with low quality. By using the theory of town planning, figure-ground theory, location theory and spatial cognitive theory and public space planning related theories as a basis for spatial layout of township public space, configuration method, morphological characteristics were analyzed, summed up the appropriate Qinling Valley- public space township planning strategies. From planning principles, planning objectives formulation, planning overall grasp the direction of public space, the space from which the meso-level in-depth analysis of public space and layout configuration method. Quality public spaces such as avatars way out of the micro-level pavement, street, lights on.
