| With the increase of all kinds of traffic flow in Xinjiang, the traffic problem such as the traffic demand rapid growth, road congestion, traffic order, traffic accidents increasing, environmental pollution, is increasingly serious. Intelligent Transportation System(referred to as ITS) is the most effective way to solve these problems., however, the function of ATMS, which is in the foundation position in ITS in Xinjiang is in traffic regulation and operation level. It can’t give attention to the real-time monitoring and management of both urban road macroscopic and microscopic. Therefore, it has great practical research significance and value to make the road miniature dioramas, which can monitor the state of microscopic traffic in the city road network, introduce to ATMS, with the computer screen monitoring the state of the macroscopic of the city road.This study chooses the traffic management system in Karamay as the research background, combining with the Xinjiang regional traffic characteristics, this study sums up the main users of the ATMS and their specific needs of traffic information. Through the above analysis, this study put forward a model of logical frame and physical frame with the road miniature dioramas in, which is suitable for Xinjiang.The road miniature dioramas as the research focus has five parts: the physical layer, circuit layer, map layer, transparent plate layer and landscape facilities. And it has 3 main function: Intuitive to show the city road network traffic facilities, providing important traffic information about daily life such as the current crowding in urban road network traffic flow, signal control system working status, situation of street lamp and VMS display information, the road miniature dioramas can receive from ATMS control by means of wireless communication and response control command, change the model of real road network according to all kinds of traffic information. To meet the needs of the traffic flow simulation, traffic state controller, VMS controller and signal controller is designed with STC12C5A60S2.The information of intersections display software is another key research focus of this study including the UI and the database. The UI is designed with the DELPHI, that is used to display the current traffic condition of intersections, and the database is designed with Paradox, which is used to store the all kinds of information about the intersections. The Data exchange equipment is designed as a data transfer station between the information of intersections display software and the road miniature dioramas, and defining the communication code in detail. |
