With the surging urbanization and dramatically increasing private car ownership, traffic jam in cities has become a important problem that city planing have to take into fully consideration. Traffic jam entails lower efficiency in the transportation infrastructure and resources, and it leads to the increase in travel time and fuel consumption. Also, auto exhausts pollute the air, other problems like traffic accidents become salient. Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) makes full use of the limited communication resources to effectively address the traffic jam. It can also improve traffic safety, lower the possibility of accident occurance and do good to environment. Thus, intelligence transportation is of vital importance to our society.This article aims to combine Network communication technology, GIS, Simulation technology, Location-Based services, C-S system, and android development together to design an intelligence transportation dynamic information display system based on android mobile terminal. Users can check real-time traffic information of every section and intersection through the intelligence terminal. In order to save the limited cyber resources, the system will provide the analogue simulation of the traffic information text to the users, meanwhile, users can easily get the information about road congestion, traffic accidents frequently occurred sections and road construction sites from electronic map. In addition, ITS also provides multi-routes to choose from. In this way, users can learn the road congestion and current traffic condition visually and change the route in time to reduce travel time and environmental pollution. Users can also remain vigilance to potential danger and reduce the chance of traffic accidents.
