The cassette steel structure is net new steel structure of beam and column spacing of 2 meters. The structure can be widely used in civil architecture. The existing steel structure wall panels generally use the composite net new steel structure with heat preservation and maintenance two different function, its durability is difficult to achieve the normal use period as design requirements; in the external environment,the combination of heat insulating material, and maintenance of functional materials are also difficult to maintain the basic properties of the original building in the life,with high maintenance costs, repairing is inconvenience for customers. In view of these phenomena, this paper put forward the self thermal insulation wallboard combining maintenance and heat insulation functions in one, mainly as the following research:1. Concrete mix ratio test. For the wallboard need self thermal insulation function,ceramist with better insulation performance is added to raw materials. Light sand instead ordinary sand in concrete fine aggregate, which not only meets the requirements of building energy-saving; but also reduces the weight of the wallboard.According to the calculation method of specifications, final configured ceramsite concrete reaches C15 in strength, and about 1200kg/m3 in density.2. The design, manufacture, installation of self thermal insulation wall.Based on cassette steel structure frame, we designed three sizes of wallboard. In order to reduce the wall weight, and install easily, we design it into a hollow wallboard.Experiments proved that the closed air layer contributes to the thermal insulation performance. At the same time, we provide the wallboard producing, and installing instructions with graphic and structural requirements description in it, meanwhile,provide solutions to existing problems.3. The thermal performance of self thermal insulation wallboard. According to the calculation method of the specification, the author analyzed the thermal insulation performance of the wallboard in theory, and then measured the wallboard’s heat transfer coefficient, by comparing the test results and theoretic analysis confirmed the performance of self thermal insulation wall insulation. In order to more accurately reflect the insulation performance of ceramsite concrete the author made a solid plate with the same size to test by contrast test. The test results show that,hollow wallboard performs a better effect for sealed air transfer slows down heat flow. The hollow wallboard works better in heat preservation. What’s more, hollow plate is of lighter and material saving. Considering the input of the production,hollow wallboard is more economic.
