As the main travel mode in China,train takes more than 1 billion people every year.With the construction of high-speed rail, the running speed and transportation amount of train increase a lot. Train has become the preferred means of transportation, but the long running time, the population mobility and the confined space make it easier to hurt even kill people when the accident happened,like fire or electric leakage. The high voltage circuit is used in the train power supply system, which has special requirements for the insulation performance of the equipment. After storage, the railway workers must carry out strict insulation and performance testing, put an end to the occurrence of fire and other accidents caused by electric leakage.This paper design a special testing device, which can test train’s insulation performan of the electrical system. The hardware uses the ARM microprocessor and the DSP digital signal processor. Its software uses Android,which is easy to design and operate. And designed a number of functional testing software.When the train is in storage and the power is cut off, the device can carry on the test of insulation and penetration of the train, and the insulation resistance of U, V, W,N, P, which is no need to manually switch the wiring, and can be combined with the environmental temperature and humidity in real time to analyze the results of measurement and analysis.In this paper, the principle and method of train insulation and penetrating detection are discussed in detail, the power supply system is analyzed and the present situation of the research at home and abroad is introduced. On the hardware side, the paper discusses the function of the chip and module, and the design of the circuit connection. The design of the software is designed according to the requirement, and the load detection, insulation test and the test of these functions are combined. At last, the simulation test and the actual test are carried out to evaluate the reliability of the equipment.The instrument designed in this paper is realized: 1 It can detect and display the on-off state of main line. 2 It can achieve insulation and throughintegrated digital test, man-machine interaction, easy to operate, 3It can achieve the intelligent detection of insulation performance and humidity, 4No need paper,data can be managed on network.
