In order to ensure the construction quality of asphalt pavement, the strict quality control of equipment is one of the necessary conditions. However, the correlative specifications focus on the final detection of the construction quality, are lack of effective control about the construction equipment. A complete quality index system has not yet been established in this field. Therefore, it is so important to establish the corresponding quality index system to solve the problem.On the basis of the study about the factors which affect the construction quality by mathematical model and experiments, the author has established an operation index system on the basis of plenty of correlative specifications. The index system is in two aspects: one is about the construction equipment parameters and construction technology, the other is about the construction process, to detect the qulity of construction equipment dynamically.For the asphalt mixture mixing equipments, the author has established the relavant qulity index about the temperature control, material metering accuracy, vibration screening efficiency and mixing technology; for the paving equipments, the author has proposed the index about the tension of the steel wire and pile distance, paving speed, paving density and roughness; for the compation equipments, the author has made the index about equipments selection, compaction speed, compaction segment length and the testing standards about roughness and compaction degree. In addition, this study has conducted a large number of experiments on the asphalt pavement construction, which have verified the applicability of the indicator system.On the basis of the research on some key construction techniques, the author has proposed a method to determine the resonant frequency of the machine on asphalt pavement construction and an effective measure to correct error for the device which is used to weigh the asphalt. The author also performed a comparison construction experiment about The vibratory roller and tyre roller, finally, formulated a reasonable combination construction technology.
