This paper make the appearance and internal structure of the coarse filter accord with the requirements of engine inlet and vehicle operation environment, through the optimization design of the air rough filter for truck engine.The author basing on the existing air rough filtration device structure and a shape analysis based, apply function analysis method to synthesize heavy truck air core coarse filter in the concept of the design and CFD analysis software Fluent and LMS.Virtual.Lab acoustic analysis software to make airflow resistance and noise analysis of conceptual design scheme, on the basis of the results to improve the design and make the optimization scheme and airflow resistance and noise analysis until they get the optimal design scheme. The optimization design method and program of air coarse filter for the parameters of truck engine are summarized..The main content of this paper is:In this paper, according to the existing automobile engine air filter structure, appearance,function application analysis method, through establish a rough filtration device function tree and function structure chart and taking the air core coarse filter concept design, the author make conceptual design of one of the five schemes, use fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to optimize multiple conceptual scheme and use Pro / E to build the model. The author analyze the coarse filter of airflow resistance analysis using computational fluid dynamics(CFD) analysis software ICEM-CFD and fluent, after this, coarse filter for pressure distribution and flow velocity vector distribution is obtained, then coarse filter structure scheme is optimized according to the pressure loss.Analysis has been carried out on coarse filter airflow noise by utilizing the LMS.Virtual.Lab acoustic FEM module. According to the analysis results, the Helmholtz resonator and a quarter wavelength muffler principle,the coarse filter structure scheme is optimized and improved.The coarse filter of the appearance,filtering effect of the coarse level, flow resistance and flow noise, weight, structural strength and stiffness, truck matching and manufacturing process constraint conditions are considered to integrate optimization design,and innovate design out of a truck engine without air core coarse filter scheme. The model and effect diagram of the scheme are produced, and the rationality of the design scheme is illustrated by the installation and matching of the vehicle..
