Wireless charging technology is a type of contact less magnetic induction or magnetic resonance technology. Integrated and evolved from Tesla induction principle, wireless charging technology can realize the radio transmission of electricity power within a certain distance. With the rapid development of intelligent electronic products, three technical alliances and organizations are founded. Wireless Power Consortium(WPC)has made the Qi standard within 5 W, using the magnetic induction principle. Qi standard has clearer requirements for the security and stability. Soft magnetic material is widely applied in wireless charging system for magnetic shielding as well as improving the efficiency of wireless charging. This paper conducts a study on soft magnetic material as follows.1. The effect of powder particle size of soft ferrite for the performance of flexible magnetic material. We analyze the reason and change rule of effective permeability, power loss, quality factor Q and the frequency response characteristics of materials made by the distribution of particle size. The conclusion is the permeability and power loss are lower, quality factor is increasing and the frequency response characteristic is better when the powder particle size is finer.2. The effect of phosphorylating way and insulation coating process of granular powder for flexible magnetic material. We suggest use preheating with hot water technology to replace acetone as the phosphorylating thinner, which can lower the cost and improve the production environment. The effect of adding amount of insulation coating agent for effective permeability, power loss and quality factor Q of soft ferrite material.3. The effect of flow process parameters and additives for soft ferrite film material. By adding reasonable auxiliary solvent, we improve the film quality and analyze the main influence factor for flow process film thickness.4. The effect of heat treatment for materials processing. We analyze the effect of technological parameter such as heat treatment temperature and holding time for the performance of soft material film.5. Apply CST simulation software to simulate magnetic field of wireless charging, analyzing the influence of flexible magnetic material and characteristics for the magnetic field of wireless charging.
