Scissor-type hydraulic lifting platform is a vertical lifting equipment which is widely used in the market. After the recent years of rapid development, it has been gradually formed into a series of product types to meet different kind of conditions. But in order to respond to the changing market and customer demand, lots of small and medium enterprises have put their eyes into the CAD system’s research and development of scissor-type hydraulic lifting platform to short the product development cycle and improve design efficiency.Through the analysis of scissors-type hydraulic lifting platform’s structure combining with the three-dimensional parametric modeling method based on Pro/E software and the secondary development of technology which is based on Pro/TOOLKIT, using the integrated development environment of VS2008 and platform based on Pro/E4.0, the research and development of the CAD system of scissor-type hydraulic lifting platform have carried on.First of all, the development of the scissor-type hydraulic lifting platform and the CAD technology at home and abroad are discussed; Secondly, the Pro/Engineer secondary development tools and key technologies are studied; The third, the function modules of the system are analyzed, and then the overall design is determined; Then, based on the shear fork structure analysis of scissor-type hydraulic lifting platform, the mathematical model and set up three-dimensional entity model is set up; The last, the secondary development of Pro/TOOLKIT technology, database management technology and menu dialog design technology are discussed in detail, then the CAD system of the scissor-type hydraulic lifting platform is established.The system which developed in this paper is simple and convenient operation, friendly interface. It can significantly short the product development cycle, and has a high value and broad prospects for development in the increasingly fierce market competition.
