With the continuous development of domestic air transport industry, domestic large hub airports are undergoing a new round of expansion. However, with the increase of the airport passenger throughput,contradiction between The capacity of roadside traffic transportation and huge passenger demand has been increasingly prominent. As one of the most developmental potential aviation hubs in the world, the capital airport occupies the main part of domestic aviation business, and its passenger throughput ranks the first of all domestic airports. However, the capital airport roadside passenger transportation system doesn’t work perfectly. Away from the urban district, the capital airport may become an isolated island if the traffic of road network around the airport is busy, which may result in a large number of passengers stranded in the airport. At the same time, large capacity transportation mode such as subway carries passengers with overall low proportion, which leads to the low transportation efficiency. Administrative department lacks of experience in multiple transportation mode coordination, and the emergency safeguard measures under special circumstances are not done very well.Based on the contents above, this article mainly conducts the corresponding research on roadside passenger transportation system of capital airport. Research contents include:1) We analysis and research on present situation of large hub airport passenger transportation systems both domestic and abroad, so as to grasp the characteristics of different road side traffic transportation modes, and to learn the design methods of connection to city comprehensive transportation. Meanwhile, we analysis and calculate the general passenger sharing of different roadside transportation modes by considering the characteristics and applicability of different roadside traffic mode. 2) We research into the rules of passenger flow, and analysis the factors that may affect it. Based on the factors and historical data, we predict the short-term passenger flow.3) We research on the corresponding technology about the short-term traffic flow prediction. After that, we put forward the short-term traffic flow prediction algorithm which is suitable for the capital airport, based on the characteristics and rules of the capital airport passenger transportation system. Meanwhile we analysis the prediction results by comparing it with real historical data, and we prove the rationality of algorithm by analysis and simulate it. 4) We research on the characteristics and rules of arriving passengers under different conditions. We mainly focus on the research of operation characteristics of taxi, which is the main passenger dispatching way of the capital airport passenger transportation system. The contents of the study include: researching on the ratio of passengers carried by taxies to the total arriving passengers, analyzing on the characteristics of taxi supply. Finally, we predict the short-term taxi supply base on the short-term traffic flow prediction algorithm. 5) Design and implement the capital airport passenger transportation system software. Based on the study above and the dynamic information of airport passenger flow and taxi supply, we can analysis wheather the passenger transportation demand matches the taxi supply or not so as to provide decision support for the airport management department.Based on the research above, we simulate and analysis the short-term traffic flow prediction algorithm and passenger flow prediction algorithm to prove the effectiveness of the algorithms. Meanwhile, we prove the algorithms have good prediction effect in the capital airport application scenarios. At the same time, the design and implementation of the capital airport passenger transportation system software ensures the airport management department to increase the response speed to passenger transportation demand and optimize the capital airport passenger transportation management system. And it improves the comprehensive efficiency of airport landside transportation system.
