| With the gradual improvement of our education system, the University Library as a cultural and spiritual carrier in the University, its importance is obvious. The University Library intercourse space is a kind of activity space, which is used for the communication of students and teachers, to serve as a space to exchange information, communicate feelings, and its use impact on all of space in the library is essential.In this paper, behavioral observation and SD questionnaire, as a survey of college students are chosed to study their behavior characteristics and space experience evaluation in the university libraries’ intercourse space, and then explore the design strategies of the university librares’ intercourse space. The thesis of this paper is divided into four main parts:The first part of the libraries’ development,classification and intercourse space is outlined as a starting point,whitch put forward the concept of university libraries, and further discusses the features of the University Library and the University Library intercourse space, classification and composition; The second part of the research methods using behavioral observations, the student behavior and characteristics of the type of activity in the university library intercourse space statistics to obtain quantitative data and analyze the relationship between students’ behavior and intercourse space in order to provide university libraries’intercourse space reference g for the intercourse space designing in the future; the third part of the university library intercourse space studies the students in the university with SD questionnaire, students get to experience psychological evaluation in this space and analyze the main factors, and finally with the use of factor analysis to further the author gets the dominant factor of the university libraries’association evaluation of students in the intercourse space. The fourth part combines the earlier findings, analysises comprehensively the University Library intercourse space design strategies from two aspects which is the design principles and techniques, to provide a reference observations related design practices in the future.By studying the four theme parts of this paper, a comprehensive multi-disciplinary knowledge from the behavioral science, psychology point of view, combined with the present situation of the university library intercourse space, analyzes the relationship between the psychological needs of students and university library intercourse space, so as to provide some guidance for the designing of the university library intercourse space in the future. |
