With the rapid development of the domestic construction industry in recent years, many buildings, roads and other structures were demolished. The large amounts of construction waste have certain influence on the environment and social development. At the same time, road protection projects requires a lot of cement concrete block, also producing these blocks need to consume large amounts of natural aggregate. Therefore, the use of construction waste in road protection engineering has become one of the hot topics in the fields of engineering and academia.This study is on the basis of research results at home and abroad. The construction waste is used as the coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and admixture of cement concrete performance test to maximize the likelihood of the construction waste to replace natural material. The result is used to provide a theoretical basis for road construction waste protection engineering,the particle size range for 5~15 mm and 15~31.5 mm of construction waste mixed with natural coarse aggregate in accordance with the mass ratio of 3:2. In conclusion, with the increase of replacement rate of coarse aggregate, cement concrete compressive strength first increases then decreases. When the construction waste coarse aggregate replacement rate reaches 50%, mixed building waste cement concrete compressive was strength mutation,using the grinding construction waste powder as admixtures to replace cement. In conclusion, early strength of mixed construction waste grinding powder cement mortar is better than that of the same replacement ratio of fly ash cement mortar. But there was no excitation effect of fly ash in the later. When the percentage of grinding powder in cements concrete construction waste was within 10%, not only the concrete compressive strength can meet the design value, but also the cement concrete frost resistance performance can improve.according to the block strength requirement of road construction protection and referencing analysis table of cement concrete mixed with construction waste, three blending proportion were recommended to maximize utilizing the building waste in the process of road protection. In conclusion, the path of construction waste used in protective engineering not only has obvious economic benefits, and can solve the resource shortage problem in excessive exploitation of natural resources. The method can also solve the problem of urban construction waste covering an area lead to secondary pollution and have a far-reaching influence on the sustainable development of society.From a long-term point of view, construction waste used in road protection project will produce a significant environmental benefits and social benefits.
