Nowadays, urban construction waste is increasing, which not only takes up a lot of land resources, but also pollute the local environment. If it is used as roadbed filler, it can not only solve the environmental pollution, but also reduce the cost of the project. Construction waste as an embankment filler, compared with the traditional fine grained soil as Embankment Filler has a greater difference. In order to make use of the construction waste effectively, the performance of the construction waste soil mixture was tested, and the settlement characteristics of the construction waste soil embankment were analyzed.This paper relying on Lanzhou South beltway highway construction project, through the indoor test of construction waste soil mixture, centrifugal model test and numerical simulation, of building garbage mixture road performance and construction waste soil embankment settlement characteristics are studied, which main research content and achievements:(1) Through the indoor compaction test, CBR test and large scale consolidation test, different ratio and different gradation, the best water content and the maximum dry density, different ratio and different degree of compaction of CBR value and mix ratio of 4:6 construction waste soil mixture in the optimal water content rate and saturated water content under compression characteristics were obtained.(2) By centrifuge model test, the settlement rule of construction waste soil embankment in different embankment heights, different slope forms and different compaction degree were obtained;(3) Carried out on different fill height and different slope form construction waste soil subgrade settlement by using ANSYS, the numerical simulation of the rule of law and that of centrifugal model test are compared and analyzed, which obtain the scope of both error.The research contents and results of the above research enrich and improve the research of construction waste as roadbed filler, which can provide some theoretical basis for the engineering design of construction waste.
