Research On The Whole Life Cycle Of The Building On BIM Technology

As the most important places for our daily lives, residential construction is a major part of the construction industry. With the improvement of people’s living standards, the intelligent, quality,safety and environment of residential building has become the focus of attention. In information age, people pay more attention to building information at all stages, such as planning, design,construction, operation and maintenance, as well as the exchange and application of information in the different stages. But in the specific application, there are many sources of information cannot be shared, it makes several problems, which not only increases construction time, but also increases the cost, and so, it makes a great waste.BIM(Building Information Modeling) technology is a milestone in the building industry,BIM technology fundamentally solved the silos issues among the projects participants, multiple sources of information and application system. It not only manages the quality, performance,progress, security and cost of the entire life cycle, but also analysis the environmental impact and energy consumption. BIM technology makes people to design houses with advanced technologies and methods, so that people’s living environment has been further improved.This paper mainly introduces the BIM technology, and researches the application of BIM technology in the building life cycle(BLM), housing industry and t green energy-saving. This paper discusses the value, impact and safety of BIM technology with Gold ? Ankang home district in Kaifeng City, as well as the future development of BIM technology.
