The East Channel Railway In Qianzhuang Project Refinement Management Case Study

With the gradual opening of the domestic railway construction market, project management is becoming standardized and procedures. As the competition is very fierce, bidding price drops lower and lower, and the industry average profit rate has been significantly lower than other industries.The original extensive management mode of railway construction enterprises has been difficult to continue, enterprises operating difficulties. To survive and develop in the fierce market competition, the railway construction enterprise must innovate the management mode, going the fine management road. Using of the scientific management methods, improving enterprise management level and with the lowest cost to achieve project goals. This article embarks from the research background, firstly, through the literature on project management and fine management, taking the Qianzhaung section project in the east channel railway as a case study, describing the current situation of the project management.Secondly, it analyzes the existing problems in the project management from safety management, quality management, cost management, schedule management, materials management, staff management, machinery etc..Finally, guided by the theory of project management of fine management, combined with the actual situation of the Qianzhaung section project in the east channel railway, in view of the problems found during the research, the Qianzhaung section project in the east channel railway management system is designed, and puts forward the measures to ensure the implementation of the project management. The value of this study is to standardize the project management details and to prevent central management loopholes. The paper hopes that through the case study of the railway engineering project fine management, exploring the accommodative way to fine management of China railway project, which providing a reference for the application of the fine management thought in the same industry project construction.
