Forest is not only a significant ecological environment resource but also a recreational resource of great utilization value. With an increasing understanding of forest, the forest tourism and forest parks enjoy a fast development. Forest landscape, as an important natural resource, is a significant support for forestry sustainable development, it is also the material basis of building forest parks, developing forest tourism and ecotourism. As an important element in the forest resource management, forest landscape plays a significant role in the recreational development.Nowadays, the continuing development of tourism product types and characteristics and the improvement of landscape and service quality prompt traveler’s travel frequency and duration increase. However, this will lead to forest travel products homogenization and traveling repetition, the situation of aesthetic fatigue may arise. Therefore, in order to relive tourists’ aesthetic fatigue as much as possible, it is important to understand tourists’current situation of aesthetic fatigue of forest landscape and explore its causes.This paper studied travelers aesthetic fatigue on forest landscapes by using methods of document analysis, experimental and questionnaire with the help of the Mindwave equipment of Neurosky Companyand. It researched on travelers who have visited Golden Whip Brook, Huangshizhai Scenic Spot and Yuanjiajie in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park for three continuous times and made a statistic analysis by using Excel 2010 and SPSS 17.0.This paper concludes five results, which are the following:(1) In indoor experiments, with the increasing rounds of same forest landscape images, both the attention value and marks of the objects on their forest landscape pictures are reduced gradually, and they have significantly positive correlation, objects whose aesthetic fatigue is obvious when they have experienced three consecutive visits to the same scenic spots; (2) In outdoor experiments, with the increasing number of visits, the attention value is reduced gradually, furthermore the extent of the second round is greater than that of the third in reduction, and the aggravate degree of fatigue is more obvious in the second round than the third; (3) When objects visit the complex forest landscape spots, the difference between aggravate degree on aesthetic fatigue of the objects in each rounds is little; While visiting the simplex forest landscape spots, the aggravate degree of objects’ aesthetic fatigue in the second round is higher than the third round; When objects visit participating and experiencing landscape spots, the aggravate degree of fatigue is small; (4)With the increasing rounds in visiting, the average score of the objects on the landscape spots is also gradually reduced, and the reducing degree of fatigue in the third round is higher than that in the second round and there is a significantly positive correlation between the attention value and mean marks on the landscape spots; (5) There is a significant linear regression relationship among the attention value and the novelty, richness, color aesthetic degree, overall coordination of the landscape, and the ranking of The influence degree is that novelty> the overall coordination> overall coordination color beauty> forest richness.Based on related researches and analysis, this paper puts forward suggestions on relieving tourist’ aesthetic fatigue, which, we hope, can contributes to the development and management of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
