The new technologies, which can be used to landscape project, continues to emerge, The structures of landscape toward artistic,functional, multi-angle view of the development, meanwhile the retaining walls as important and vertical structure, in addition to meeting the basic feature of its "retaining" in landscape space,How to beatify and build the landscape retaining wall of the art, from the landscape of the purpose and expressed characteristics, is an important part of the modern landscape design.In this paper, “the landscape of the construction of the retaining wall” for the scope of the study, to the approval of the Ministry of Construction of Retaining Walls Atlas No. 04J008(gravity retaining wall, balance weight retaining wall, cantilevered retaining wall) for the construction foundation of landscape retaining wall, With landscape design, landscape visual science as the theoretical basis. Summarize and extract the retaining wall of the building landscape theory and methods, to provide some guidance and reference for future landscape retaining wall of the building. The basic research results of this paper are as follows:(1) In the study of the structure of the landscape retaining wall foundation and theoretical basis of the premise, and then analyze the affecting factors, function and role of the landscape retaining. And then elaborate and summary the constructed elements of visual in landscaped retaining wall, such as the form of the wall, volume, wall materials, colors and lighting effects,summarized how to ingeniously use various elements of the landscape construction of retaining walls for enrich retaining wall of the visual effects.(2) On the basis of all types of landscape retaining walls building features and GB Atlas, for four common types of retaining walls, including cultural propaganda type, space building type,watch scene and tour type,ecological and green type and eight methods such as the from of engraved, calligraphy, murals retaining wall, the form of billboards, advertising retaining wall, the form of flower beds retaining wall, the form of gallery retaining wall, the form of rockery stone retaining wall, the form of waterscape retaining wall, the form of vertical greening style and gabion retaining wall, from many ways to introduce the features of these retaining wall, and by drawing floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed analysis of all types of building technologyof landscape retaining wall, then further expanding the landscape retaining wall establishing aesthetic expression of art and points to note.(3) The author investigated two landscaping retaining wall case——Beijing and Qingdao Horticultural Exposition Garden, summarized the existence of the success and the deficiencies of landscape retaining wall. Finally through practice projects——Taishun County District Wenxiang Lake Terrace Gardens Landscaping Retaining Wall Construction, to further demonstration and research the theories and methods of constructed landscape retaining wall.
