With the increasing scarcity of traditional energy sources,people pay more and more attention to the development and utilization of solar energy,therefor the SSPS(Space Solar Power Satellite)with the key technology of MPT(Microwave Power Transmission) is proposed, the MPT is the wireless transfer of power at microwave frequencies.The research of MPT has more and more practical significance with the applications in other fields. Microwave wireless power transmission technology involve that microwave power generator, beam control, microwave transmitting antenna and receiving antenna, microwave rectifier circuit and array technology. There are some analysis of system architecture and transmission efficiency in this dissertation, the emphasis is the design of transmitting antenna, receiving antenna and rectifier circuit, finally the whole system is test.The details is listed as follows:First, the SSPS is proposed by the background of energy crisis, which leads to the WPT technology and overviews the definition and classification of WPT. The significance of the research is illustrated through listing WPT applications。Besides the development of MPT in China is explanation with introducing the development and milestones of MPT. Then with the discussion of system architecture and selecting devices, some important questions are analyzed, such as the choice of microwave frequency, the relation between transmission efficiency and field distribution of two aperture antennas,the analysis of system efficiency.The index of system efficiency distribution is obtained according to analysis.Then, some important portions of system are designed, such as transmitting antenna, receiving antenna and rectifier circuit. According to the analysis of the system, transmitting antenna is reflecting antenna whose aperture size is confirmed and feed is half.wave dipole with reflector. The curve of the electric field intensity with the change of distance and the distribution of field intensity are painted through physical test. Receiving antenna is microstrip antenna array, according to the principle of designing, microstrip element and three kinds of array elements were designed by using HFSS simulation software and was processed and test, subsequently the configuration of array element is analyzed. It is selective analyzed that the large signal model of diode and the tendency of input impedance of diode and the dc output voltage with the change of input power and load, so the rectifier efficiency increases along with the increase of input power before the diode is breakdown. The rectifier circuit with HSMS-282C diode is designed by software ADS.The conversion efficiency of 50% meets target allocation requirements through processing and testing. The four way parallel rectifier circuit module is designed and processed through the analysis of dc power combination.Finally, it is measured that output power frequency of microwave source, the distribution of transmitting antenna amplitude and phase, receiving power of receiving antenna and the output voltage of rectifier circuit. The efficiency is calculated through statistical data. The efficiency includes efficiency of microwave source converting dc to microwave, the transmission efficiency between transmitting antenna and receiving antenna, the efficiency of rectifier circuit converting microwave into dc, the overall transmission efficiency of system is 16.5%, so as to verify the feasibility of MPT system design.
