Auto starting motor is one of the car’s important parts. With the rapid development of the auto industry, its demand is growing. In rapid development it also faces many problems. This topic is authorized by auto starting motor enterprise and is to study auto starting motor stator bag. The traditional mechanical package bag with process is handwork or manual taping. Therefore, developing a high performance car starter motor stator bag machine, can bring greater economic benefits for the enterprise and has a broad application prospect.In the design process this topic is to reduce workers, to improve quality, to conveniently operate, to increase productivity and to reduce production cost. On the basis of the studies of the enterprise, integrating use of theory of mechanical design, virtual prototype technology and finite element analysis theory is to solve practical problems. Development in automatic car starter stator package machine is accorded with engineering design of human body.This topic is on the basis of field investigation. First of all, the design task is put forward and overall requirements of package machine is made. According to the structure characteristics of the coil, combining the enterprise demand and the existing technology is to analyze the tape process. Covering process determines the required basic movement, and the main functional modules. For equipment performance requirements of starting motor stator package machine overall planning, determining the structure and the spatial layout of the machine is done. At the same time the overall design of bag machine is completed. Secondly, in view of the overall scheme and according to the specific parameters of the coil, a detailed structure design and type selection calculation are done. It is main component parts of the core module design. Then, covering process need control system research. Designing a suitable tension control system and pneumatic control system is to ensure the quality of the tape. Again using 3D design software Solidworks2013 draws virtual assembly. Applying finite element analysis software ANSYS14.0 Workbench is to analyze package machine of main modules of the key components in finite element method and to find out the weak link. According to the actual situation the optimized improvement is made or not. Finally, go on summarizing and prospect, and points out the direction of follow-up design.
