In China, deep foundation pit excavation and supporting engineering began in the 80s. With the development of high-rise building in the city, the depth of the foundation pit excavation is also increasing and more and more difficult. After entering the 90s, such as excavation and supporting of deep foundation pit engineering has become one of the hot and difficult problems in industrial construction. Solving the above problems is of great practical significance, and which is a scientific precondition and fundamental guarantee to ensure the safety, economy and scientific of construction.This paper mainly completes the following content:this paper expounding the research background and significance of the foundation pit engineering, discussing the development trend of foundation pit engineering. According to the characteristics of the foundation pit engineering to figure out the needs of satisfying the requirements of the foundation pit supporting system. Summarizing the classification and suitable conditions of foundation pit supporting system which is present and commonly used. Researching the suitable basis and principles of the supporting schemes of foundation pit engineering. To achieve the safety of supporting structure and economic, convenient for construction. Explore the present situation and existing problems of deep foundation pit supporting optimization, clear the content and optimization principle of the foundation pit supporting optimization and fully realize the necessity and important significance of the foundation pit supporting optimization.Use the foundation pit engineering of Dalian University of Technology deep-sea engineering innovation experimental base project as an example, this article collected the engineering general situation, environment, engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions of the engineering, with theoretical knowledge as the foundation combines with practical engineering experience to select the type of foundation pit supporting. At the same time, optimize the construction of foundation pit supporting to determine the overall scheme of foundation pit supporting. Select a representative supporting plan for structural design, and calculate with the help of the utility engineering software, reach the conclusion of the construction sequence and the design of the support plan of the foundation pit. Finally using ANSYS to establish a model of deep foundation pit, perform the finite element analysis of the foundation pit. Through comparing the calculation of the finite element analysis and the utility engineering software, analysis the differences between two kinds of method.
