With the comprehensive informatization of society and rapid intelligentization of household equipment, intelligent household technology already penetrated into all aspects of family life, easy operation, personalized and beautiful control interface are as a new requirement for the user of smart home system. But with a growing number of smart home application software on the market, and the more complex control interface, it is against the original intention of smart home to make life easier. Therefore, development of user-centered control interface will become the inevitable trend of the smart home system design.The core content of this thesis is to realize customizable user interface of smart home system in the general environment, then users can not only customize interface, but also apply custom interface to the same type of different devices, and combined with user preferences recommend model, the system will realize the interaction among the function, interface and user.Firstly, this thesisstudies the smart home system and interface customization technology, through detailed investigation of the problems appeared in the current smart home software, and analyzes on the advantages of the user interface customization technology, and on this basis, the interface customization technology is applied to the design of smart home system software. Secondly, according to the functional attributes, the smart home software system is divided into four parts: system framework module, device message module, network communication module and interface display module, and the unified structure and concept of object-oriented thought have carried on the functional description and message interaction of each module. Then, by comparing a variety of interface design method, this thesis chooses the MVC design pattern, combined with the function parameter description of the household equipment and interface customization technology, to realize the interaction design of the user interface for the smart home system software. After long-term use of the system, a large number of user data will be accumulated, combined with the technology of data mining and classification, this thesis presents a user preference model based on collaborative filtering algorithm. On the basis of the model to meet the user behavior analysis, it effectively improves the ability to analysis user’s interests in the customizable smart home system software.Finally, the design of customizable smart home system software in this thesis is applied to the intelligent terminal, on the Android platform(JDK + Eclipse + ADT), the customizable smart home system and the user preferences recommend model are easily achieved, through two indicators which includes recall ratio and precision ratio, this thesis evaluates the performance of the model. By system test, both the feasibility of the customizable smart home system software designed in this thesis, and the validity of user preferences recommend model are verified. The system allows users to personalize the interface design. It not only satisfies the function of customizability, but also implements the universality and friendliness of the interface.
