The residential district entrance is not only the “face” but also the “eye” of this district, what`s more, it will give the first impression to the human beings. In the age of caring more about the humanization, in addition to the need of the basic physiological level, people pay more attention to the psychological level, and even emotional needs. The different scale of things will bring different feelings. Therefore, it`s necessary to have a study on the scale design of residential district entrance based on humanized factors.Firstly, this paper defines the concept of the space of residential district entrance, and clarify the relationship between the entrance and the city, between the entrance and the residential district, as a connecting space, summing up the three basic elements of the space: road, structure and building, and plaza. Then,have a description of the humanized factors and the scales, and expound the performance of the residential entrance of humanity factors in the scale. On these basis, data collected from on-the-spot investigation of the entrance space of 26 residential districts in Nanchang are analyzed. After the combination of research, the key points of scale design respectively from the macro and micro levels of the sidewalk, barrier-free design, roadway, calming design, structure and buildings and plaza, the six kinds of components of the residential district entrance are summarized. Then, combined with the actual case to analysis and design. Finally, putting forward the control system of the scale design of the residential district entrance based on humanized factors, and the trend of its development is prospected.
