For the design process of traditional infrared imaging system, we need some kind of test, and the problem that cannot be integrated into account for a variety of complex factors effectively. We describe the performance characteristics of infrared imaging systems, and analysis the influence of shipboard environment on the overall performance of infrared imaging system. Then we study the comprehensive performance evaluation model of the existed infrared imaging system, and construct shipboard infrared imaging system comprehensive performance evaluation model based on the fuzzy comprehensive theory, finally we take simulation examples.Firstly, we introduce the infrared radiation and transmission characteristics, and analyzes the composition, classification and principle of an infrared imaging system.We propose minimum resolvable temperature difference(MRTD), minimum detectable temperature difference(MDTD), noise equivalent temperature difference(NETD), modulation transfer function(MTF) and other individual performance parameters. We take comparative study based on the individual performance evaluation model.Secondly, we study the effects of temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, salt spray, mold and other environmental factors to comprehensive performance of infrared imaging system. In addition, we take research on the influence of the ocean dynamic environmental factors, such as vibration, shock, etc. And we study the effects of the electromagnetic radiation, nuclear radiation and other battlefield environment factors to the overall performance of infrared imaging system, finally we propose the corresponding countermeasures.Again, we study the infrared imaging system integrated performance evaluation model based on the quality factor M and the infrared imaging system integrated performance evaluation model based on the distance. Then we compare the advantages and disadvantages of several typical operating ranges of infrared imaging system equation, and we take calculation on comprehensive performance evaluation model.Emphasis analyzes the impact of shipboard dynamic environment.Finally,based on the fuzzy mathematical theory of comprehensive assessment,it constructs the secondary fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of the general infrared imaging system and the shipboard infrared imaging system and then performthe corresponding demonstration calculation.It turned out that the model constructed can therealize the effective assessment of comprehensive performance to the general infrared imaging system and the shipboard infrared imaging system.For different types of comprehensive performance of the infrared imaging system,it can provide visual and effective results of the assessment.This topic can provide a basis for optimizing the shipboard infrared imaging systems, thus it can significantly reduce research costs, shorten cycle systems research to improve the efficiency of equipment renewal, and it has some theoretical and practical reference value.
