Latticed steel columns are widely used in the main bearing component orparts of the bent frame column of the industrial buildings, structures, the crossline facilities shores, tower crane. All sorts of accidental impact will inevitablyencounter in the using process of the structure. For example, the collisions ofthe steel beams and columns with the latticed steel columns of the heavyindustry workshop, the crane hoisting heavy objects or vehicle sometimes occurin the workshop. The partial damages can be caused under the action of impactin the component, which will change into the larger overall deformation of thestructure and even collapse when seriously, which cause the personnel casualtyand the property losses. Therefore, it is of vital significance to carry out theexperimental study on the basic mechanical properties and residual bearingcapacity under the action of impact for the structure security and the appraisalwork after the impact. The theoretical analysis and experimental research for thewhole process of elastoplastic dynamic response of lattice type steel columnunder the action of lateral impact were carried on in this paper, and the residualbearing capacity of the component after action was studied, meanwhile. Theprimary coverage is as follows:First, the mechanical properties of the six lattice type steel members underlateral impact were studied using the DHR9401fall-hammer impact testingmachine. The influence of the impact energy on the dynamic response ofcomponents is mainly focused on in the impact test. The time history curveunder the impact effect, local deformation of components and the overall deformation pattern were recorded in the process of the test.2nd, used the500tYAW-5000microcomputer control battery solution servocompression testing machine to complete the hit the test sample surplussupporting capacity dead load experiment.In the testing observed the componentdestruction shape, and records the testing axial test results and the data and soon load, component cross lateral displacement and axial displacement.3rd, uses the ABAQUS finite element software, established the trellis typesteel lumber the power to respond the entire process and the lateral hit hind axleunder the lateral hit load function to the surplus supporting capacity theoreticalanalysis model.And uses and this article tests the record the impulse timeinterval curve, the axial load, the cross displacement as well as the componentremaining distortion shape have carried on the contrast, has confirmed the finiteelement analysis model accuracy.4th, using the finite element model which the ABAQUS finite elementsoftware establishes to the trellis type steel lumber after the lateral effect ofimpact the power response process as well as the lateral hit the axial surplussupporting capacity has carried on the analysis.
