Abstract/Summary:
Recently, with the development of society and speeding up the processes of urbanization and industrialization, the water shortage problem is an important factor in restricting the industrial development and economic growth. On the one hand is determined by the China’s national conditions, China, as a developing country, high agricultural and industrial water demand will still occupies a large proportion in the present and future for a considerable period of time; on the other hand is the status of the industrial water decision, the current structure is irrational many industrial sectors, the water-consuming industries have a large proportion of water takes up too much, resulting in some high-value industrial development is limited due to lack of water, do not get a reasonable allocation of water resources.In order to solve the water shortage problem the researchers have put forward the virtual water theory, which it’s converted the research perspective. The virtual water is an entity of water, different from the water resource. The main objective of the study is to build a new water resource chain among the population, grain and trade, it can significantly contributed in reduction the problem of water shortage through the importing the virtual water with grain trade and indirectly saving water resources. At the same time as the regional structural optimization of water issues a new way of thinking.The main direction of this research paper is in application of virtual water theory on industrial structure optimization. Firstly, description of virtual water conception, relevant theories of virtual water, and topic analysis and significance of virtual water trade. Secondly, introducing the relationship between water resource and industrial structure and analyzed the contradiction. Meanwhile, in deeply analyzed for application of virtual water on industrial structure optimization resulted with the great significance in the water restriction. Thirdly, based on analyzing the influence of virtual water to industrial structure, comparing the advantages between virtual water trade and water transfer project and according to the water characteristics of agriculture and industry has established the multi objectives optimization model based on virtual water trade as well as improving the water use efficiency and alleviating the pressure considered as the comprehensive ultimate goal to set up multi-objective optimization model based on virtual water trade and Yancheng City as the research object, finally, In Yancheng city water structure and characteristics of economic development, used optimization function to solve analyzed the necessity and feasibility of virtual water strategy and supposed the Yancheng City as study area and according to the model optimization analysis results can be concluded that, there is obvious effect in the industrial structure optimization due to the virtual water trade.Then, put forward reasonable macro-control strategy basis for industrial structure characteristic of Yancheng city.
