Hydraulic systems are widely used on the ship. The marine hydraulic system works great intensity, and the working environment is worse when compared with the other systems, so the marine hydraulic system need more meticulous maintenance and management which include higher requirement of the hydraulic oil cleanliness. Statistics show that,75% hydraulic system mechanical failures are caused by particles pollutants in hydraulic oil, detection of oil particle contamination is an important method to maintain the cleanliness of oil, which has important significance in checking and preventing hydraulic mechanical failures. The working contents are as follows:(1) At first, the microfluidic chip for particle classification and detection was designed. Then the classification effect of microfluidic chip was simulated by ANSYS CFX software after the model had been established, the best parameters of the chip was determined after emulation.(2) The microfluidic detection chip was made by soft lithography method. The classification structure of the chip was optimized according to the classification experiment. The classification experiment was carried out on the detection chip and the copper particles with the diameter of 10μm and 30μm were classified successfully.(3) The whole grading detection system was designed meticulously, including the optical detection system and the signal collecting and processing system. The optical detection system was designed according to the detection characters, and all the components of the system were ensured reasonably. The signal collecting and processing system consist of differential amplifier circuit and low pass filter circuit, all the circuits were simulated and a good filtering effect was gotten. Finally, the whole classification and detection system was fabricated after all the preparations. The copper particles with the diameter of 10μm and 30μm were used to test the feasibility of the system and the detection signal figures were gotten. The experiment results show that the copper particles with the diameter of 10μm and 30μm can be classified and detected by the classification and detection system.
