| Micro Total Analysis Systems (μ-TAS) is a system which has integrated pretreatment, sampling, separation, detection and other sections of normal analysis process into a small chip, so it is also called "lab on a chip". "Personality" and "family" is the destination of μ-TAS, but the scarcity of performance the detector limits its development .A confocal laser induced fluorescence detector based on a 635nm laser diode is established for use with the micro fluidic, capillary electrophoresis chip in the study. The photo multiplier tube is employed for the detection of the fluorescence and the A/D card for sampling signal. When this LIF system was used to detect Cy5 on a 16μm deep and 66μm wide home-made glass chip, the concentration detection limit of 1nmol/L was achieved, which is lower than all that has been reported in domestic up to now.Separation and detection of Cy5 monofunctional dye labeled Noradrenaline and Dopamine was accomplished in a micro fluidic chip with this LIF system, and satisfied results were achieved.It is proved that this LIF system provides good characteristics include convenience, compactness, cheapness, stability and high sensitivity in the μ-TAS. Moreover it is hoped to be commercialized in the future. A bionics Cell Proliferation Bioreactor (CPB) was designed and established to simulate the bionics environment. The experiments showed that cells cultured in CPB could achieve higher and longer viability than conventional method. CPB was proved to be helpful to avoid false results. The experiment was operated more easily with the introduction of automatics. |
