Traffic Safety Analysis Of Baihua Segment In Jingjia Highway

The Baihua segment of Jingjia highway (G111)-from Nenjiang to Jiagedaqi adopt a highway design standards. Since the formal operation of the highway in 2012, a traffic accident occurred on the highway features gradually showing a certain regularity, and as time goes by, more and more main driving environment was affected by the residents along the road, the security status is deteriorating year by year as well.This paper begins with design elements and accident characteristics from Baihua highway section. The analysis of the current security situation of Baihua highway section is carried out to predict highway future security situation and find out the main influence factors that easily induce accident in Baihua highway section. The research methods of V85 operating speed measurement, safety facilities matching analysis, field survey of roadside interference, determination of the coefficient of friction, and monitoring the sun change rules are used, the four embodied in the highway operation prominent security problems of Baihua highway section of highway alignment condition, roadside interference, road surface of ice and snow and sunlight interference are further analyzed.According to the study of highway traffic safety factors, Baihua road with total length 141.764km was divided into 33 sections, using English letters feature sections security risks, and by analyzing various factors on the accident rate of the contribution of letters assignment, and ultimately the security features Baihua road section of highway and the whole road evaluation.
