Due to the terrain, design and other factors, the completion of the opening of the accident will often form a relatively concentrated accident prone point. Accident prone point is often accompanied by a special major accident, to the company by the personnel’s life and property to bring a huge security risk, its harm is far greater than the normal road sections of the highway. Therefore, the study of the expansion of highway accidents and multiple factors, put forward the safety analysis and evaluation methods, effectively control the highway accident prone points, is to improve the overall safety performance of the highway cut point.This paper to Liuzhou to Nanning highway modified expansion projects rely on, to traffic accidents analysis as the breakthrough point, through field survey, theoretical analysis, using mathematical method to study the expansion of highway accident prone sections safety, to study the multiple main influence factors of accident, presents the design principle and method of expansion road accident prone sections of the service facilities, and be applied in engineering practice.To investigate and study the current situation of the old road accidents, and to recognize the urgency of solving the accident of the expansion of the highway. The influencing factors of expressway traffic accidents are analyzed, and the influence of various factors on traffic accidents is analyzed qualitatively. Analysis of the expansion of the road traffic accident unfavorable factors; based on the present situation of Liuzhou to Nanning expressway, of traffic safety facilities, bridges, interchanges and were safety analysis, and puts forward the service infrastructure solutions. Provide the basis for the design and construction of the expansion of the highway traffic safety facilities.
