In recent years, a large number of tourism resources have been applied for the World Culture Heritage in Yunnan Province.Many conventional raw soil dwellings are also contained in the World Cultural Heritage. Due to the influence of modern architecture in the conventional raw soil dwellings and the problems existing in the conventional raw soil dwellings themselves,it is obvious that has been unable to shoulder the historic mission if it continues to copy the local traditional residential construction techniques.Yunnan is an earthquake-prone area, and the earthquakes had caused many serious wall cracks of adobe dwellings, even to the extent of houses collapsed.Therefore, it has no time to delay to develop new anti-seismic adobe construction techniques.The local-style dwellings of Hani Nationality living in Yuanyang district are mainly composed of mushroom houses, which have been combined with architectural style of Yi Nationality to form the Tu-Zhang houses. Its residential structure is composed of earthen and wooden one or wooden one,belonging to Qiong-Long cage building system. Hani Nationality conventional dwellings are commonly seen as the adobes with hip roofs.Adobe walls are the space enclosing structure, wooden beams are the bearing structure. The roofs are made of thick thatches or straws, which looks like mushrooms from far. Therefore the dwellings of Hani Nationality are also called "mushroom house". With the influence of the modern civilization, it has been discovered that there are a lot of defects in the combination of structure and function for various space use; Windows of adobe walls size narrowly, affecting interior lighting and ventilation.it is humid indoor and the health condition is poor. All of those have a gap compared with the comfort, health and leisure advocated by the modern life.Through the study of anti-seismic adobe wall technology at home and abroad, this thesis proposes a new anti-seismic adobe wall technology in the purpose to solve problems of poor seismic performance of the traditional adobe wall building, ineffective indoor lighting, poor ventilated effect and contradictions between living life style with modern life,etc. The new seismic adobe wall technology refers to an adobe wall structure system composed of a core column-dark ring beam,using the core column and dark ring beam as seismic construction measures to form a kind of two-way reinforced stealth concrete to strengthen the adobe wall,solving the existing problems of seismic adobe wall unsolved at home and abroad combined with its own brick shape of adobe bricks and the durability of intensity.The application of the new seismic adobe wall technology to raw soil dwellings will not only provide tourism resources sites which can effectively adhere to raw soil dwelling culture and suitable for the existence of traditional adobe dwellings, but also conforms to the present ecological environmental sustainable development strategy, which can be widely applicable to the new rural construction with national characteristics. Development and promotion of this new type of seismic adobe wall technology will bring a new life for our country’s raw soil dwellings.
