The new type of composite material of copper-clad steel conductive rods, copper has good electrical conductivity, and compared with the pure copper conductive rod its bearing capacity is greatly improved. now the rod has been widely used in pure copper electrolytic refining process by an enterprise. However, due to the conductive rod is inevitable deformation and bending in the process of installation, transportation by overloading and impacting, and so on and so forth. And traditional straightening on conductive rods, is usually accomplished by artificial, its efficiency is low, the effect is poor, the labor intensity big, noisy, and serious damage on the surface of a conducting rod. Annual copper electrolysis enterprise have lots of scrap processing, caused a lot of waste due to the conductive rod deformation serious. Therefore, we often have to rely on artificial to straighten, its efficiency is low, the effect is poor. The intensity of labor is big and knock noise big. Annual copper electrolysis enterprise, due to the serious deformation and lots of scrap processing, conductive rods have caused a lot of waste. domestic lack straightening theory research, more no relevant straightening equipment in the copper-clad steel.In this paper, the author studies on the copper clad steel the conductive rod based on certain assumptions, because the connection between the copper and steel case belongs to the enterprise can’t be known. First:conductive rods always maintain connection state between copper and steel, and can strain keeps continuous change in the process of straightening. The second:assuming that the material is the ideal elastic-plastic material.Based on the integrated use of elastic-plastic theory, it is concluded that the copper-clad steel elastic-plastic change rule and the rule of the stress and strain in the process of straightening. Through the research of bending moment calculation method in ling profile and diamond pipe, the moment expression and straightening curvature ratio expression of copper-clad steel conductive rods is established under different deformation condition. using straightening theory to the design and calculation of copper-clad steel conductive main structure parameters and key process parameters. using the equal strength design principles to optimize the roller space, and analyse force and distribution before and after straightening, and so on and so forth. on the basis of the existing straightening equipment, modification to make it conform to the requirements of the related parameters of the above theoretical design. extraction of copper-clad steel conductive rods and obtain the straightness value of each rod according to the measurement. the original conductive rods separated by groups according to the size of the straightness value, and straightening experiment is carried out on board. at last by making the contrast figures of before and after straightening and analyzing the straightness figures, each group of conductive rods can effectively straightened.In this article, the reasons of the phenomenon such as fibrillation, indentation are also analyzed and relevant solutions are put forward in the process of straightening.
