With the continuous development of today’s industry and construction, therequirement for steel production and better straightening accuracy continue to improve.Rebar straightening often use multi-Rotating Hub leveler in the actual production, but itsefficiency has been unable to meet the needs of the current situation. In recent years moreand more high-speed and easy-to-adjust parallel roller straightening machine are used. Inorder to quickly get uniform curvature before entering the essence of straightening rollsystem, this paper presents to use eleven rolls large deformation roll system. In thereasonable roll system configuration, the precise amount of reduction and straighteningparameters are the key to ensure the good straightening quality. The study of therelationship of pressure volume and related straightening parameters precision in rebarstraightening process and the study of the automation of adjusting the reductionprocedures have important significance.In this paper, on the basis of the elastic-plastic application theory and mechanicsmaterials theory, we obtained the relationship between rebar bending curvature andbending moment, straightening force in the process of straightening. Basing on the11roller large bending flat vertical roller, we obtained the desired number of straighteningrolls, diameter and other related parameters to achieve the required straightening effect.In order to improve the efficiency of straightening, this paper propose to adjust thepressure volume of each roller with the servo hydraulic cylinder and real-timedisplacement measurement sensor to achieve the concept of a fully automatic control,and use VB program to calculate reinforcement straightening parameters, as well asimprove accuracy and speed of straightening avoid by virtue of human experience toadjust the amount of reduction inaccuracies.In order to verify the reasonableness of the theoretical calculation of reinforcedstraightening parameters. the paper uses a large-scale finite element software ANSYS tosimulate the straightening process, after the solving using processor LS-PREPOST software analysis an view rebar straightening overall and sectional stress distributionprocess, and analysis the straightening effects under the theory of straighteningparameters. The data processing results of the verification shows that the amount ofreduction obtained by the theoretical calculation enables steel bar to achieve the desiredstraightening accuracy.
