Automobile braking system has been widely applied to auto-design, which plays an very important role in driving safety and is closely related to the personnel safety and economic returns. The braking performance, one of the major indicators in auto-braking system, directly affects the driving safety, so it is vital to have tests on the braking performance of the system. Therefore, this thesis puts forward a combined signal vehicle testing system based on the virtual instrument technologies, which not only makes the user self-defined function possible under the mode of FPGA of CompactRIO, but also greatly boosts the efficiency thanks to the designing concepts of modulation both in its hardware and software, so that the product could be constantly optimized. This system is built by CompactRIO platform and the C-series modules with the application of relevant theories such as mixed signal collecting, signal processing and analysis, and TCP telecommunications. First, in the mode of FPGA, LABVIEW achieves synchronized collection of the mixed signals. Second, this thesis proposes an architecture based on single TCP control, which becomes more instant in system response compared with the dual TCP control. Third, multiple data that is related to the hardware’s properties is collected and analyzed by designing several groups of testing experiment, so that some new functions are developed like hardware auto-detecting based on the previously concluded rules. Four, this system features the function of signal off-line analysis, like frequency spectrum analysis, original signal back-playing, etc. Five, the micro-chip has been successfully implanted into this system, enabling the portable PDA collecting data from and controlling the CompactRIO in real-time.
