ABSTRACT:In recent years, the domestic economy has developed rapidly. The construction and operation of urban rail transit has come to a new prosperity time. China is becoming the world’s largest urban rail transit market. In this context, the demand of subway drivers is increasing continually. In the case of meeting the demands of subway drivers, how to select the right candidate, improve the occupational adaptability of the driver and speed up the subway driver’s training is becoming a vital problem to be solved in ergonomics.This paper focus on the occupational aptitude and selection method of subway drivers and has accomplished the following work:(1) The study assessed155subway drivers by using O*NET work questionnaires to collect data and has made a validity and reliability analysis on the data collected. Then, building the subway driver’s occupational adaptability contour by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. In this chapter, the4dimensions-11factors-73elements model of the subway driver’s vocational adaptability is established.(2) Based on the contour above, designing and carrying out the expert evaluation questionnaire to extract the selection elements; choosing18papers to make meta analysis.10abilities are summarizing from these papers and are used to verify and perfect the the selection evaluation indexes along with task analysis. Finally, the selection evaluation indexes include:operational control, reaction speed, visual pursuit, attention, pressure tolerance, antijamming capability, working stability and memory.(3) Based on the classic, mature psychology theories and models, developing10interoperability tests specific to the indexes, including:hands coordination test, determination test, anti-interference ability test, reaction speed test, attention test, visual pursuit test, working stability test and visual memory test. All tests’ paradigms, methods, parameters, process and the comprehensive assessment are introduced in detail. (4) Put forward design requirements about the online test platform and develop man-machine interaction operation panel based upon the selection process and management requirements, which can be used to the subway driver’s recruitment and selection.The research results can be used to guide the selection process of subway drivers, further promote the adaptability and provide theoretical foundation and application tools for subway driver’s recruitment and selection. |
