| With the development of economy, the appearance of new urbanization and agricultural modernization in depth, land supply has become an increasing contradiction. Over the past years, the area of rural settlements not only wastes farmland resource but also hinders the enthusiasm of farmers even impedes the development of new rural construction. Nowadays rural land is faced with huge morphological evolution and transformation. It’s of about how to accept the challenge in the new situation, good planning and deployment of rural resident. It’s of great importance to think about how to face the challenge in new situation, or how to make the plan about rural settlement.This paper takes an example of Liling City in Hunan Province. And I will take the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis method to combine the date base of2005and2009, DEM data and other information about Liling Yearbook. Furthermore the use of landscape ecology theory and GIS spatial analysis of combining quantitative reveals the evolution trend of rural residential landscape features, the administrative village was worked as a unit to build an evaluation system to evaluate the comprehensive development of rural settlements in Liling City, and based on the evaluation score to division level, on this basis to determine the rural residential optimization program of Liling city.The results indicated:(1) the scale of rural settlements of Liling City has increased and its shape becomes more complex during2005-2009. The rural settlements affected significantly by the natural environment. The area is affected obviously by the town, rivers, roads and grade.(2)evaluation results of Comprehensive development strength:the development of high strength grade16, grade58developing strength, low strength development strength of180and a low development level33.(3)rural settlements of Liling will be divided into four optimized modes:gradually moved and urbanization, the priority development. |
