This paper firstly introduced the research status of domestic and foreign scholars onCFDST beams, on the basis of referring to the research achievements of scholars inChina and abroad,we selected seven dodecagon CFDSTspecimens, with the use of experimental method, theoretical analysis and means of finite element method, we studiedthe bending performance of the dodecagon CFDST beams systematically: Firstly, the load deflection relationship and the load-strain relationship during the process of bending were observed, and the failuremode were record too; Secondly, the relevant norms of civil and abroad were used to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of these specimens and comparasions were made between the experimental values and the calculatedvalues, several relevant conclusionswere draw after the comparasions;Third,the simulation of the specimen of the ultimate bending capacity with the use of the finite element method were also made to compare with the experimental values, results are in good agreement with the experimental values; Finally,based onthe current research situation of the CFDST structures, we made several prospects for its research directions.
