CNC bending machine is a kind of tube bending forming device, which can realize the massproduction of the same specifications elbow rapidly and efficiently. However, before the massproduction, manual adjustment for the mold clamping force and mandrel size, location will still takea long time. Physical factors of many complex interactions determine the quality of tube bendingforming together. The stainless steel rectangular tube of bending forming is studied from thetheoretical analysis, finite element simulation and experiment aspect, which analyze the factorsaffecting the forming process of the bending process and optimize parameters.The simulation process uses ABAQUS software. The finite element model is establishedto analyze, and relevant parameters are constantly adjusted for the multiple simulations. Base on thesimulation results, the curve drawings describe how the parameters affect the formingprocess. Process parameters are eventually optimized to provide reference data for the bendingexperiments of real parts.Based on the simulation results and the method of plastic theory formula, e the clamping force andthe bending moment of the motor can be determined, so as to choose the appropriate equipmentlike CNC bending machine. In the same way, mandrel, moulds and fixtures can be designed andbuilded, with which the experiment can be proposed. Combined with simulation results, observingthe rectangular tube for deformed thinner, rebound and wrinkling, measuring changes in the valuescan help to give an answer about the correlation of all physical factors. The debugging method to eachmold and mandrel under different defect cases have been provided, which would solve a varietyof problems that may arise in the process of tube bending.
