With the rapid development of automobile industry, the energy crisis andenvironmental pollution problems have been brought out, in order to solve theseproblems, many countries and regions of the world have begun to research a newenergy vehicle. Hybrid vehicles not only have the advantages of the the traditionalautomobile engine of the advantages of long working time and large power, but alsohave the advantages of the motor of the advantages of no pollution and saving energy,hybrid cars have become the mainstream direction of the research and development ofnew energy vehicles.This paper combines project of the major science and technology in Jilinprovince, the project is the chain transmission system key technology research abouthybrid cars. In the thesis, the background and significance of this topic research areintroduced, the hybrid vehicles research status and the chain drive system researchstatus are expounded, so are the hybrid car related theory and the chain drive systemrelated theory. The design method of Hy-Vo silent chain is studied, and the designsystem of the Hy-Vo silent chain-sprocket-tool is established. Combined withconcrete hybrid drive system, the parameters of Hy-Vo silent chain plate is designed,so the profiled pin and the chain system.According to the specific parameters of the chain drive system, the geometrymodels of the silent chain system and the various parts are established, based on thegeometric models, physical mathematical model is established. At the same time, theflexible analysis of silent chain plate and pin is done. The chain system trajectory andthe transmission error are analysed, so is the silent chain tension, the contact stressbetween silent chain plate and silent chain plate is analysed, so is the contact stressbetween the profiled pin and profiled pin. The chain system trajectory conform to thetheoretical trajectory, and the chain system can ensure the accurate transmission ratio,the contact force between the pin and silent chain plate is greater than the contactforce between the pin and pin, the silent chain plates bear the weight of the most ofthe load, the intensity of the silent chain plate and pin meets design requirements. The wear test is carried out on the high-speed wear test bench, and the datum arerecorded, the Hy-Vo center distance wear elongation curve is mapped. Using scanningelectron microscope, the wear parts are scanned, and the wear mechanism is studied,the wear mechanism mainly includes the contact fatigue wear, abrasive wear andfretting wear, the internal meshing Hy-Vo silent chain plate is the main working plate.To sum up, the design method of chain transmission system in hybrid car isproposed, it can provide some theoretical guidance for the automotive transmissionsystem design, through the study of the dynamic characteristics, flexible analysis andwear characteristics experiment, the scientific and feasible of chain transmissionsystem is verified.
